Abstract:

This layer contains the existing and proposed non-motorized trails for the City of Red Lodge. The Rocky Fork trail system was initially designed and proposed as part of the of 2006 Comprehensive Trails Plan completed for the City.

Purpose:

This dataset is a geographical representation of non-motorized trails for the City of Red Lodge and is intended to be used for mapping or analysis

Process step:

Existing and proposed trails were digitzed from 2005 NAIP imagery. A heads-up digitzing method was used to define trail segments. The location of proposed trails was completed by trail consultants and through an extensive public input process. See the City of Red Lodge Comprehensive Trail Plan for more information.
